Blinded by the light
Wow.
As I was busy cooking Sunday lunch yesterday, unbeknownst to me, I had been spotlighted in the British Comic Month column on the Gosh website!
Instantly lifting my mood from this
to this.
Thus proving my craven desperation for attention while cremating the Sunday roast.
I feel totally honoured and amazed.
I do try to keep up with this blog but haven't updated my actual website for some time. Maybe this will shame me into doing so.

Dessinators are go
It's been a while – I won't go in to the events of the last few months, suffice to say, Angouleme is upon us, and we are once again heading to foreign parts to spread the word of the London comics. We are now The Dessinators, a name which I believe will stick. Sean, Sally Ann, Dan, Oliver and I will be manning the table as usual. This year we will be flanked by none other than Paul Gravett, Peter Stanbury and the Comica Festival gang on one side, and the lovely Italians of Passenger Press on the other. Come and pay us all a visit in the Alternative Press tent.
I have been preparing for the trip, as my kitchen bears witness.

Boys at school

Finally sent off my contribution to Whores of Mensa 5, Ellen Lindner, Jeremy Dennis and Mardou's rocking journal of ladies' cartoon art .
This one is the Party Issue so you can guess the theme of my strip.
This weekend is MCM expo. I will not be attending this time, but the line up of top creators looks to be as sparkling as ever.
Schmurgen Jonerhaffs is rumoured to be making an appearance...

Launching the assault

And we're off. The fastest anthology in comicdom has come together in record time from glimmer in Dan's eye to finished printed artefact in 30 days, not too shabby eh?
76-pages of comictastic goodness from the likes of Paul Rainey, Sean Azzopardi, Phil spence and many more to take to Angouleme and a comic convention near you.
B.a.s.t.a.r.d.s are GO!
